HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED THE LIFE CYCLE OF A TURTLE?
Well… firstly the life cycle all starts of when a female lays its eggs on a nesting beach , usually in the tropics. They usually have about 50 to 200 eggs. The eggs will hatch From six weeks to two months.
Secondly tiny hatchlings brakes through their shells and makes there way to the surface of the sand.
for the first time the hatchlings makes their way to take their first swim in the sea the baby's normally do this at night to avoid animals who might want to eat them like crabs & birds once the baby's reaches the water it swims nearly non stop to escape the shore if a baby sea turtle survives its trip to the open ocean it gets caught in the current and float around for miles feeding on algae and seaweed.
Thirdly as the sea turtle grows older and gets stronger it returns closer to the shore to finish growing this can take years. As sea turtles reach adult age they head to the breeding grounds to mate mating season takes place from march to october then the males head back to the feeding area and the females go back to the beach to lay their eggs most females go exact beach to where they hatched. Then the same process happens all over again.
In this explanation i have told you what was the life cycle of a sea turtle explaining from a egg to a baby to a adult.
